Gidget is the owner of The Designed Body and has worked in the fitness industry since 1991 in a variety of roles.  Gidget considers herself a knowledge “junkie”.  Her passion for Pilates has opened up an interest in better understanding the body and all of its functions.  She has taken this interest into the field of Fascial Stretch Therapy and Neurokinetic Therapy.  Acquiring additional knowledge of how the body is designed to work and how we can achieve our goals has become her passion.

Dani Lieberman

Senior Pilates Trainer

Dani Lieberman, originally from Toronto, was introduced to the fitness industry through her previous dance instructors. She received a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from Syracuse University and furthered her career by gaining a Diploma in Culinary Arts & Food Science from The French Culinary Institute in New York City. She began practicing Yoga in 2003 and received her RYT – 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate in 2012. Additionally, over the past two years, she has enhanced her professional career by becoming a fully certified STOTT PILATES® instructor, TRX instructor, Total Barre instructor, FST level 1 certified and a GYROTONIC® Trainer. Dani utilizes her diverse array of skills and interests to assist her clients in achieving their wellness goals. She aims to inspire and motivate people to move, bringing energy and health into all aspects of their lives.

Amanda Linfield

Total Barre Instructor

Amanda is a Apprentice Level trainer with a 14 year pilates practice behind her! Pilates peaked her interest at the age of 16 and she has been hooked ever since. Amanda has been with The Designed Body for three years, and has also worked in children’s fitness for the last four years. Amanda believes that everyone is a work in progress, whether that be physical or mental, and by adding a healthy exercise and diet regimen a person can improve their quality of life. She is trained in Mat, Reformer, Barre, and is available for private, semi-private, and group sessions.

Amanda Taylor

STOTT PILATES® Mat & Reformer and CCB Instructor Trainer

Amanda’s extensive Pilates education, certifications and teaching experience began in 1992. After years of continuous studies and teaching in health clubs, spas and Pilates studios, she discovered in 2000 the STOTT PILATES® Method, a contemporary approach to the original works of Joseph Pilates. Amanda completed her certifications at Merrithew™ in Toronto, becoming a Certified Instructor as well as a Certified Instructor Trainer.

In spring of 2014, Amanda attended Fascia-Wise, a workshop presented by Karin Locher, founder of Spatial Medicine|CPM affiliated with Thomas Myers. Karin’s introduction of myofascial meridians within the Pilates method was the beginning of an awakening in Amanda who sensed the possibilities of new pathways to gain vitality and restoration. Curious, fascinated by the process and desiring of change, she felt committed to continue her studies with Spatial Medicine.

Beth Posa

STOTT PILATES® Mat & Reformer Instructor Trainer

Beth is a fully certified STOTT PILATES® instructor, a STOTT PILATES® instructor trainer and owner of New Strength Pilates in Missouri City Texas. She has been in the fitness business for the past 15 years as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. She has taught and certified in Weight Lifting, Yoga, step(remember that?), Kick Box, Spin, aquatics and every type of exercise on stability ball. Balls are a big part of her practice. Toning Balls, Massage balls, Melt Method balls, exercise balls, foam roller balls, 9 inch balls, are always around her. Her education and experience spans many other modalities including Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist and a Lay Responder teaching CPR/AED for The ARC. She completed her training in Muscle Activation Technique Jumpstart Program in Lower Extremities, Upper Extremities and Spine and Trunk, is an AFAA Group Fitness instructor, Melt Method Instructor (hand & foot, roller and strength), TRX instructor, Total Barre, and Zen·ga Mat and Equipment Instructor. CranioSacral Therapy is one of her most recent endeavors along with working on her certification as a Restorative Exercise Specialist.
